Chiswick Web Design is a trading name of Moiotso Limited. This privacy policy explains how we use the personal and company data we collect from you when you use our website. Moiotso Limited is the data controller for that data.
What data do we collect?
Moiotso collects the following data:
- Personal identification information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and address.
- Company information, such as your company name and address and, where relevant to your project, the number of employees, your company logo and other media.
- Payment details, where you become a client and pay for our services. This website does not take payments.
Our hosting and email services also process the technical information needed to deliver and protect the website and your enquiries, such as request and delivery records.
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:
- Send us an enquiry through our contact form or by email.
- Buy or sign up for any of our one-off, monthly or yearly services.
- Voluntarily complete a customer survey or give us feedback by email.
- Provide logos, images, text or other media for your project.
- Use our website, where you have accepted optional analytics (see the cookie sections below).
Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in a contact form message.
How will we use your data?
We collect your data so that we can:
- Respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirements.
- Process and deliver the services you ask for, and manage your account.
- Provide you with additional services if you require them.
- Contact you by email or phone about other services of ours we think you might like, where you have agreed to this or the law otherwise allows it (see Marketing).
We do not sell your personal or company data, and we do not share it with other third parties for their own purposes. Service providers that host our website, handle our email and, if you accept analytics, measure website visits process data on our behalf.
Our legal basis
We answer business enquiries and discuss our services on the basis of our legitimate interest in doing so. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, or we deliver services under one, we rely on that contract. We keep financial records to meet our legal obligations. Optional analytics relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How do we store your data and how long do we keep it?
We store your data on secure local and cloud servers.
We keep client personal and company information for two years after the end of the service period, then delete it from all our records, except where the law requires us to keep financial records for longer.
If an enquiry does not lead to work together, we delete it after 12 months without substantive contact.
Marketing
We would like to send you information about our products and services that we think you might like, as well as those of our partner companies. We will only do this where you have agreed to it or the law otherwise allows it.
If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.
What are your data protection rights?

What are cookies?
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. When you visit our website, we may collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology.
How do we use cookies?
This website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If we enable Google Analytics, its tag will only load after you accept analytics, and rejecting it will not stop you using the website.
We remember your cookie choice in your browser's local storage for 180 days, solely to respect your preference.
What types of cookies do we use?
- Preference: that you have seen our cookie notice and, where offered, your analytics choice, kept in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again.
- Analytics, only with your consent: Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days. Browser restrictions may shorten that period.
How to manage your cookies
